Open Letter to Alexandra Wallace by Jared Taylor of AMREN.com

Posted by mikenopolis on March 21, 2011

Editor, Jared Taylor of American Renaissance wrote an excellent open letter to Alexandra Wallace. He points out why Whites get such harsh feedback when the issue of race come about.

Here’s a BIT of what Mr. Taylor wrote:
Dear Miss Wallace,

Welcome to fame you never wanted.

By my count, since you posted your YouTube video about Asians at UCLA on March 13—8 days ago—some six million people have watched it. You took it down the same day, but it went viral anyway. There are now scores of “replies” and “parodies” on YouTube, most of them vile, many of them obscene. National newspapers have held you up to ridicule, and UCLA’s vice chancellor for student affairs Janina Montero says she is “appalled and offended.” After a week of enduring what you say were “the harassment of my family, the publishing of my personal information, death threats and being ostracized from an entire community,” you have decided to drop out of UCLA.

None of this would have happened if you had been caught stealing books from the library or cheating on an exam. It would not have happened even if you had been arrested for bank robbery or murder. In the times in which we live, what you did was far worse. You were “insensitive.”

Alexandra Wallace was not Deciplined by UCLA, but she Decided to Quit

Posted by mikenopolis on March 18, 2011

As much as I was offended by Alexandra Wallace’s video, I hate that people have harassed her to the point where she’s quitting UCLA http://ow.ly/4hEyD she already ruined her future. The least we can do is let her finish her last year. Why don’t the Asian community be “the bigger man” and get over it already. Remember the “sticks and stone can break my bones, but words will never hurt me”?

Alexandra. I’m Chinese, I will let this one go. Don’t throw away your future. Make a public apology and sincerely ask for people to forgive and forget. I’m sure you’ve learned your lesson

Minor UPDATE on Alexandra Wallace

Posted by mikenopolis on March 17, 2011

According to sources in the school administrations, Ms. Wallace graduated from Fair Oaks’ Bella Vista High School in 2008.

I mentioned in my previous post that I wondered where she was originally from to be so ignorant to the population of Southern California. Turns out Fair Oaks California is a predominately White community with 83.3% Caucasian and only 4.5% Asian….I don’t even want to know what she thinks of Black people, that’s 0.7%.

Japan Tsunami and Pearl Harbor References

Posted by mikenopolis on March 16, 2011

In the past few years, the world has had a few natural disasters in places such as Chili, New Zealand and most recently Japan’s 8.9/9.0 earthquake and the devastating tsunami that followed. It was nice to see so many nations offer them a helping hand.

A friend of mine tweeted a LINK from Buzzfeed which showed a print screen of some people (majority Caucasian, most likely Americans with the exception of one Asian looking kid) making remarks on Facebook that the Japanese disaster was karma and that it was payback for the Pearl Harbor bombing. From the looks of these ignorant individuals’ profile pictures, none of them were alive and directly affected by that incident. If this was at a time of war, I would understand these hurtful and unjustifiable comments.

If you were looking for payback, don’t you remember Hiroshima? If I had to guess these people are racist, there’s no way a non-racist person would make those kinds of comment. I’m not saying that all white people are racist, I’m just saying ignorant people need to stop putting their faces out there.

For the sake of argument, apples to apples so to speak. I don’t have the exact numbers, but Pearl Harbor took around 2,000 lives, mostly military, Hiroshima/Nagasaki killed 80,000 right off the bat, majority civilians, then 420,000 were fatally affected by the radiation (also civilians). If you put all the numbers together, out of the approximate 502,000 people that died, 99.6% were caused by the US. and 0.4% were caused by the Japanese. In other words, Japan would have to bomb Pearl Harbor 249 more  times to kill as much people as the US did. I’m first and foremost an American, so I’m not saying Japan was right in what they did, I’m also not saying the Americans were wrong because I support anyone who believes in defending our county . But it was a time of war and we should let it go already. It’s 2011! When will there be peace?!!??

Here are the comments just a few of them made, so sad that their names were censored out. DAMN Racists! I’m going to make a wild guess here. They only buy American, Drive American and Eat American huh? Racist F#&@s. People are people, we SHOULD be judged by our actions and reactions and not by our race, age, color, sexual preferences or sex.

Just look at these CONFIRMED ignorant fools!

Having Children to Cheat the System

Posted by mikenopolis on March 15, 2011

One of my friends who teaches elementary school in Los Angeles posted this on Facebook this afternoon. “One of my students told me today that her mom will be having another baby so that she can get a bigger tax check, this will his 8th sibling”

This is what is wrong with our government. We assist too many individuals who abuse the system. I’m not saying that the state should no longer help because that child will need all the support he/she can get. My mother’s friend has 4 kids and confessed to her that that’s the reason they had so many!

We need to draw the line somewhere. I’ve seen the numbers and know when all my tax money is going. This is one of the reason why some states are going broke!

Alexandra Wallace – UCLA Racist Rant Regarding Asians

Posted by mikenopolis on March 14, 2011

Have you seen this video? A girl who happens to attend UCLA rants about her “issues” with the Asian race.

I thought, especially when Obama got elected, that American were one step less racist than they/we once were, it doesn’t matter which political party you support. We as Americans were able to vote in a Black president, that was an awesome step, that was something I never thought I would witness in my lifetime. Ms. Wallace basically set White people AND Blondes back 20 years, just watch those red-neck, white trash and dumb blonde jokes make a come back! I do wonder where she’s originally from as she seems to have no experience with the diverse cultures of Southern California. She thinks that Asians bring their relatives and friends over from Asia when they get accepted to UCLA?!?!

I’ve lived in Southern California for a third of my life. I know many UCLA graduates and know that Alexandra Wallace does not speak for nor represent majority of her faculty and peers. For those who blame UCLA for her choice of words would just be unfair. She spoke…on record as an ignorant individual, something I have done in the past, just not towards a race, gender, etc…I’m guilty of constantly judging people’s parenting skills or religious beliefs, but there’s a line to how far, serious and loud your opinions can and should be voiced.

Wallace starts off her rant by saying that she’s not the most politically correct person and that she didn’t mean to offend…she then goes on to offend majority (Maybe some don’t see the problem) of the people who listened to what she had to say. She says that her rant is not towards any of her friends, did this mean that she has Asian friends?

I’m confused as to where she thinks Asians come from, it really boggles my mind that she may think that all Asians are Japanese with her tsunami remark. AND does she not know saying “Ching chong ling long ting tong” is something that can ruin careers? just look at what happened to Rosie o’Donnell.

I don’t know how her life is going to go at this point, her full name is out there, her face is all over the the net. I’m not going to kick her while she’s down. Getting a job is going to be VERY hard for this young lady. I know she will learn from this lesson, and hope she changes for the better.

THIS IS WHAT SHE SAID

Ok…So…Here at UCLA, it’s finals week, so we know that I’m not the most politically correct person, so don’t take this offensively. I don’t mean it towards any of my friends. I mean it towards random people that I don’t even know in the library, so you guys are not the problem.

The problem is these hordes of Asian people that UCLA accepts into our school every single year, which is fine. But if you’re going to come to UCLA then use American manners.

So it used to really bug me but it doesn’t bother me anymore the fact that all the Asian people that live in all the apartments around me, their moms and their brothers and their sisters and their grandmas and their grandpas and their cousins and everybody that they know that they’ve brought along from Asia with them comes here on the weekends to do their laundry, buy their groceries and cook their food for the week. It’s seriously, without fail. You will always see old Asian people running around this apartment complex every weekend. That’s what they do. They don’t teach their kids to fend for themselves. You know what they don’t also teach them, is their manners. Which brings me to my next point. Hi. In America we do not talk on our cellphones in the library.

Every five minutes I’ll be…Okay, not five minutes, say like 15 minutes, I’ll be like deep into my studying, into my political science theories and arguments and all that stuff, getting it all down, typing away furiously, blah blah blah, and then all of a sudden when I’m about to reach an epiphany, over here from somewhere “Ohhhh!!!! ching chong ling long ting tong ohhhh!!!” Are you freaken kidding me? In the middle of finals week. So being the polite nice American girl my mamma raised me to be, I kinda gave me what anybody else would do that kinda like (Finger to her lips, signifying be quiet) you know it’s a library like we are trying to study, thanks. And then it’s like the same thing five minutes later but it’s somebody else you know, I swear they are going through their whole family, just checking on everybody from the tsunami thing. I mean, I know, that sounds horrible, like I feel bad for all people affected by the tsunami, but if you are going to go call you address book like you might as well go outside because if something is wrong, you might really freak out if you are in the library and everybody is quiet like you seriously should go outside if you’re going to do that. So thanks for listening, that was my rant. I just, even if you are not Asian, you really shouldn’t be on the cellphone in the library, but I’ve just never seen that happen before, so thank you for listening and have a nice day

I Want THIS True Multitasking in Apple iOS 5.x For iPad 3

Posted by mikenopolis on March 14, 2011

I never thought I would like the iPad as much as I do. I know for a fact that it is not a necessity by any means. I have plenty of computers, laptops, dedicated portable media player, few computers dedicated for the TV’s and an iPhone. What I really like about the iPad is the instant on factor, for years I have been too lazy to look up something because I didn’t want to boot up a computer. I still say the iPad is just a big iPod Touch/iPhone but the large screen does make everything easier.

This weekend as I was watching a movie and I wanted to look up something on IMDB. If I was on my computer, I would just use my dual screen. Although the current iOS supports multitasking, it is not true multitasking. I need to pause the movie, open Safari, do my search, then start the movie back up once I’m done. The iPad’s screen is large enough (This would give the user roughly TWO 7″ displays) and I’m pretty sure the newest Apple A5 Processor would be more than able to handle what I’ve “rendered” below. None of the tablet competitors have this functionality as of yet. I think if Apple’s team made this possible in next year’s release of iPad 3 and iOS 5 It will solidify their rank in the tablet market.
